COMMON QUESTIONS

Tested, connected, planned — what's the difference?

What does "engine tested" actually mean?

The module is implemented and tested in controlled, offline, import or local runtime settings. It is proven code, not a live service you can subscribe to today.

And "connection required"?

The adapter is written and exercised, but it only produces data once a provider connection is authorised and deployed. Provider credentials and data costs sit with you.

Why separate API results from consumer results?

An answer returned by a provider API and an answer a person sees in a consumer product are different surfaces with different behaviour. We record the exact surface, locale and method, and we never blend them into one number.

How does Padua earn authority?

Per project and per capability, by evidence. Padua cannot rewrite its goals, approve its own evidence, raise its own spending allowance or broaden its permissions. Read how the loop works.

Will future modules break what I already use?

Integrations are pinned and reviewed, adapters are replaceable behind a shared evidence and policy layer, and upstream changes are met with compatibility canaries and rollback rather than automatic installation.

Is a mention in an AI answer the same as a recommendation?

No. Prevalence, citation and recommendation are measured separately, and absent citation data is never reported as zero citations.
